A globally active engineering company specializing in tailor-made process solutions for the oleochemical industry — since 1982.
AT Agrar-Technik Int. GmbH is a globally active engineering company specializing in tailor-made process solutions for the oleochemical industry. Since 1982, we have been developing, designing, and delivering advanced technologies — from concept to full EPC execution.
With an integrated team of experienced engineers covering all major disciplines, we manage industrial projects of varying scale and complexity — efficiently, reliably, and on time.
We work closely with our clients to understand their technical, economic, and regulatory requirements. Based on decades of hands-on engineering experience, we transform these requirements into technically sound and economically viable solutions — delivered on time and within budget.
From agricultural machinery to pioneering biodiesel and glycerol technologies — AT's journey has been one of continuous evolution and technological leadership.
AT was founded in 1982 by Hans-Joachim Gaede, initially manufacturing agricultural machinery and seed processing facilities.
With the emergence of biofuels in the early 1990s, the company strategically evolved toward process engineering for biodiesel production.
A major milestone was reached with the successful commissioning of the first AT biodiesel plant in Austria — marking the beginning of our long-standing expertise in oil and fat conversion technologies.
The establishment of AT AGRAR TECHNIK (SEA Sdn. Bhd.) in Kuala Lumpur underlined our commitment to global markets.
With more than 30 plants successfully planned and delivered worldwide, AT is recognized as an internationally operating engineering partner in the oleochemical sector.
AT has actively contributed to the development of technical standards and quality frameworks within the biodiesel sector.
Our engineers have participated in committees such as the DIN EN 14214 standardization committee and AGQM (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Qualitätsmanagement e.V.).
Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. agr. Moritz Gaede has served as Board Member of the German Biodiesel Association (VDB) and as President of the European Biodiesel Board in Brussels.
Our team combines deep chemical and process engineering expertise with decades of industrial experience — ensuring innovative, sustainable, and practical solutions.
Active participation in the standardization committee shaping European biodiesel specifications.
Engaged member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Qualitätsmanagement Biodiesel e.V.
Leadership roles at the German Biodiesel Association and the European Biodiesel Board in Brussels.
Deep chemical and process engineering expertise combined with decades of hands-on industrial experience.

Dipl.-Ing. agr. Moritz Gaede has served as Board Member of the German Biodiesel Association (VDB) and as President of the European Biodiesel Board in Brussels.
He has been instrumental in shaping technical standards including DIN EN 14214 — contributing to the committees that define biodiesel quality across Europe.

Michael Sirch studied Food Chemistry and Environmental Analytics. In 2006, he met Moritz Gaede at Campa Biodiesel, where they pioneered the conversion to exclusively waste-based feedstocks — an early step toward sustainable biofuel processes.
Joining AT in 2010 and becoming co-partner in 2014, he now leads process development, technology strategy, laboratory operations, and R&D — driving innovation across AT's process technologies.
The establishment of AT AGRAR TECHNIK (SEA Sdn. Bhd.) in Kuala Lumpur in 2014 underlines our commitment to global markets.
